Make a splash with the Rotary Club of Asbury Park at its 9th Annual Rotary Polar Plunge to benefit Rotary Service Projects. This January, we will be plunging to support Mary’s Place by the Sea, a local organization providing a place for women with cancer to heal: mind, body and soul; and Rotary Eye Rescue, a project that restores vision to the blind through corneal transplants. Every $2,000 raised gives sight to one person. By restoring sight, Rotary Eye Rescue allows men, women, and children around the world to live healthier lives and contribute to their families and communities. For more information on Mary's Place by the Sea please visit their website at https://www.marysplacebythesea.org .
During the Plunge on Saturday, January 28, 2017 on the Asbury Park Boardwalk, Rotary supporters will plunge into the frigid waters of the Atlantic Ocean to raise funds and awareness for our service projects. Registration will begin at 9:30am at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel Bar and Restaurant, across from Convention Hall.
